Another group of partners has joined their 14 former colleagues at Goodwin's recently launched Philadelphia office, continuing to bolster the new location's Life Sciences services. Partners Allison Nicklin, Alicia Palladino and Laura Umbrecht Gulick have been welcomed in the Philadelphia office, and Justin Platt in the New York office. Umbrecht told Law360 Pulse in an interview Thursday that the group's move is a chance to extend their reach and expand the resources available to their clients. "We couldn't be more thrilled to be joining our colleagues at Goodwin Procter," Umbrecht said. "We have worked across the table and alongside them before, and the synergy is really apparent. They have a tremendous breadth of talent and resources in the life sciences." Rachael Bushey, co-chair of the Philadelphia office added that building up the firm's life sciences services with these four additions is crucial as they prepare for what could be a busy year in the transactional space.
