Goodwin has added four more partners, including two in Philadelphia. The news comes a little more than a week after the mega law firm entered the Philadelphia market with the addition of 14 partners led by a trio of rainmakers — Rachael Bushey, John Jones, and Thomas Gallagher. The newcomers are Philadelphia-based Allison Nicklin and Laura Umbrecht, New York-based Justin Platt and Pittsburgh-based Alicia Palladino, who will work remotely as Goodwin does not have an office in the Steel City. All four are part of the Life Sciences practice. “We see health care as in this kind of a triangle of convergence of technology, private equity and life sciences,” Goodwin Chair Rob Insolia, said in an interview with Philadelphia Business Journal last week. “We see a lot of really vibrant industry players in that geographic region, and that's what makes this so exciting for us.”
