As the world has emerged from the impacts from Covid-19, new work and travel patterns have stoked demand, from both an investment and guest-use perspective, for hybrid-hospitality projects. Hybrid hospitality is the next iteration in the industry as boundaries between professional and personal lives further blur and the desire for flexible spaces to accommodate both sides of life increases. These projects vary depending on the location, size and anticipated needs of users but often they include flavours of residential products (eg co-living, serviced apartments and whole-ownership units), traditional hotel rooms, a variety of food and beverage concepts, co-working spaces and other entertainment and wellness offerings.
