Goodwin has acquired two private equity attorneys, who will work on opposite sides of the U.S., the firm announced recently. Andrew Kimball and Andrew Cheng join the firm's Private Equity practice as partners, the firm said. Kimball will be based in the firm's Washington, DC office while Cheng will work in Santa Monica, California. "There's no doubt that Goodwin's efforts to establish itself in both Northner and Southern California have paid off," Cheng said. "Being able to help build-out the Santa Monica office, and to plug into Goodwin's market-leading private equity, technology and life sciences practices, were too good to pass up."
