Goodwin advised Repligen Corporation, a life sciences company focused on bioprocessing technology leadership, on the acquisition of Polymem S.A., a leading industrial expert in the development and manufacture of hollow fiber membranes and modules.
Toulouse-based Polymem was established in 1997 by two engineers specializing in hollow fiber membrane manufacturing and has built itself up into a firm servicing numerous industries, including the biomanufacturing sector.
With this acquisition, Repligen aims to significantly expands its hollow fiber membrane and module production capabilities and adds core R&D, engineering and production expertise in hollow fiber technology for both industrial and bioprocessing markets.
The Goodwin team included in Paris, William Robert, David Diamant and Hadrien Gence on corporate aspects, Marie-Laure Bruneel on tax aspects and in the US.
