The Cannabis, Technology, and Private Equity teams advised Dutchie its $200 million Series C, at a $1.7 billion valuation, as well as its acquisition of Greenbits and LeafLogix.
Dutchie is cannabis technology platform focused on providing consumers with safe and easy access to cannabis and supporting the positive wave of societal change cannabis is bringing to the world.
Greenbits and LeafLogix are enterprise resource planning (ERP) and point-of-sale (POS) software solutions serving the cannabis industry.
The company's latest funding round is led by Tiger Global, with participation from new investors Dragoneer and DFJ Growth, and from existing investors including Casa Verde Capital, Thrive Capital, Gron Ventures, and former Starbucks Chairman and CEO Howard Schultz.
The Goodwin team was led by David Johanson, Bill Growney, Gregg Katz, Barzin Pakandam, Mike Gomez, Mehar Najeeb,Yifan Yang and included Kevin Lam, Andy Barton, Jackie Klosek, Ai Tajima, Albert Solecki, Romina Weiss, Matthew Dunay, Paul Jin, and Kara Kuritz.
