PLI's Kimble v. Marvel Entertainment, LLC: Supreme Court Confirms Patent License Fees Cannot Extend Beyond Patent Term

The U.S. Supreme Court has issued its decision in Kimble v. Marvel Entertainment, LLC, which addressed whether a patent holder can charge royalties for the use of an invention after the underlying patent has expired.
