Our summer associates will receive a comprehensive and immersive experience, building new skills and confidence through exposure, formal training, and networking within our firm and across our practice areas. With our hands-on guidance, you will interact with some of the most talented lawyers, expand your legal know-how, and explore your interests to successfully take your next step.

How To Apply

Interested in applying to our 2026 Summer Program? Submit in two steps.

Complete our online application, which asks for a cover letter describing your practice area and interests, a most up-to-date resume, and your law school transcript.  

Please note, if a candidate receives an offer through our direct application program, we anticipate their decision within 21 days from the date of the offer.

Complete an assessment by Suited. If you've already completed the assessment, log into your Suited account and share your results by accepting our invitation to connect. Please ensure that you use the same email address for both your application and assessment. Refer to their Student Resource Guide for more info.

Goodwin has partnered with Suited, a candidate screening platform, to help us better understand our applicants and expand access to our Summer Associate program. Our goal is to make the recruiting process as fair and seamless as possible, so that we can find candidates who will be fulfilled in their roles and complementary to our culture. Your results will be used as just one of many factors in evaluating your candidacy.
