Abhishek Krishnan is a partner in the firm’s Business Law Department and a member of the firm’s Private Equity group. Mr. Krishnan advises a wide range of corporate and private equity clients on M&A, joint ventures, private equity and venture capital investments, exits and restructurings in China, India and across Asia.

Mr. Krishnan has been ranked “Up-and-Coming” by Chambers Asia Pacific 2024. Interviewees described him as “very sophisticated, detail-oriented and responsive”, and “wonderfully savvy and is super good across the market”. He was also described in the 2021 edition of The Legal 500 Asia Pacific as “an outstanding attorney and is incredibly knowledgeable, efficient, commercial, and responsive.” Mr. Krishnan has been recognized by ALM's Law.com in its inaugural list of “Private Equity Rising Stars: 10 Lawyers in Asia to Watch”, listed in India Business Law Journal 2024 as one of “India’s International Top Lawyer” and named a “Singapore Rising Star” in Asian Legal Business’ 2024 edition.

Mr. Krishnan joined Goodwin in 2015. He has nearly fifteen years of legal experience in the Asia Pacific region, including a secondment at Hillhouse Capital in 2017.
