Richard Hughes is a partner in the Business Law department and a member of its Private Equity group and Debt Finance legal practice area. Richard advises on a range of finance matters, focusing on leveraged finance transactions. He has particular experience in leveraged and cross-border acquisition finance, as well as refinancing matters, advising financial institutions, corporates, and private equity sponsors. He joined Goodwin in 2016.

Prior to joining Goodwin, Richard was an associate in the acquisition finance and general banking team at Herbert Smith Freehills in London.
