Collin Grier is an associate in Goodwin’s Litigation department.
Collin has represented and advised clients in consumer financial services litigation, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), and in matters involving privacy including the California Invasion of Privacy Act. Collin also maintains an active pro bono practice, representing clients in immigration and veteran’s benefits matters. Collin is admitted in Maryland and the District of Columbia and has also appeared before the Massachusetts Appeals Court.
Collin joined Goodwin in 2021.

Collin’s recent experience includes:
- Representation of consumer financial services companies in TCPA class action defense
- Representation of financial services companies in nationwide class action defense challenging the charging of convenience fees for accepting payments by phone and online
- Successfully represented pro bono client in Massachusetts Appeals Court and subsequent housing court trial and secured client’s ownership rights to disputed property
During law school, Collin was the Senior Articles Editor of the Boston University Law Review. He interned for Justice Scott Kafker of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.
Prior to law school, Collin served as an officer in the United States Navy aboard submarines.
