Global law firm Goodwin announced today that Ora Grinberg has joined the firm’s Tax practice, resident in the Silicon Valley office.
“Goodwin’s tax practice plays a pivotal role in advising innovators and investors on transactions across the technology, private equity, life sciences, real estate, and financial industries,” said Neal Sandford, chair of Goodwin’s Tax practice. “Ora’s experience with U.S. and cross-border M&A is aligned with the needs of our clients and her skillset is a perfect complement to our existing team.”
Grinberg concentrates on U.S. corporate and international taxation, with an emphasis on cross-border and domestic mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings. She represents clients from a diverse set of industries and geographic jurisdictions and range in size from startups to large Fortune 500 companies. Grinberg advises both buyers and sellers in M&A transactions, regularly represents serial acquirers, and has extensive experience advising on sophisticated corporate transactions.
Grinberg was awarded the Euromoney Americas Rising Stars Award for Best in Tax and Tax Disputes two years in a row and appears in Euromoney’s Expert Guides: Rising Stars, in the Tax category. She was also recognized by California Super Lawyers as a Rising Star.
Over the past year, Goodwin has ranked at the top of the global M&A league tables. Refinitiv named Goodwin the number one legal advisor (by deal count) for global and U.S. M&A in Q1 2021, and Mergermarket’s Deal Drivers FY 20 reports named Goodwin a top three firm (by deal count) for the life sciences and technology sectors.
Grinberg is the third tax partner to join Goodwin in the past three months, following the additions of Dulcie Daly and David Irvine in London.
