Lauren Y. Zhang is an associate in the firm’s Business Law department and a member of its Technology and Life Sciences groups. Her practice includes representation of clients across the life sciences and technology industries, which include global investment banks as well as public and private companies.
Lauren’s work extends to every stage of the corporate life cycle, from financing through successful initial public offering or acquisition, with a focus on public and private capital markets transactions such as IPOs, follow-on offerings and private placements of equity and debt securities. She also counsels clients on a wide array of corporate matters, including public and private securities offerings, securities law compliance and corporate governance.

- Represented the underwriters in a follow-on offering by Syndax Pharmaceuticals
- Represented the initial purchasers in the $230 million convertible notes offering by Cutera, Inc.
- Represented J.P. Morgan Securities and other underwriters in the $75 million follow-on offering by Precigen, Inc.
- The underwriting syndicate in follow-on public offerings for CymaBay Therapeutics
- Represented the underwriters in the $50 million follow-on offering by scPharmaceuticals Inc.
- Represented Precipio Inc. in its $2 million registered direct offering and concurrent PIPE
- Represented HOOKIPA Pharma Inc. in its follow-on offerings aggregating over $120 million in proceeds
- Represented Orchard Therapeutics in its $387 million acquisition by Kyowa Kirin
- Represented Jefferies, TD Cowen, Cantor, Stifel and other investment banks as agents in multiple ATM facilities
