Thomas (Tom) Underwood is an associate in the Business Law department at Goodwin. Thomas’ practice is primarily focused on representing public and private companies (including “crowd-funded” companies), as well as investment banks, in public, private, and Regulation A capital markets transactions. His work also involves securities law compliance, reporting, and corporate governance for public companies.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Thomas was a summer associate at Goodwin in 2021. During the summer of 2020 he worked as a legal intern at the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities. While in law school, he served as an Executive Editor for the New York University Law Review.
Thomas’ prior professional experience includes work as an engineer and service in the US Navy.
