Katie Tarvardian is an associate in the firm’s Business Law department. Katie’s practice focuses primarily on mergers and acquisition for private equity investments. She joined Goodwin in 2022 after clerking for Goodwin’s Private Investment Funds group.

Professional Experience
While attending law school, Katie was a student attorney with the Georgetown Law Juvenile Justice Clinic. She appeared in the DC Superior Court – Family Division more than twenty times to defend her clients. Katie also served as Treasurer for Georgetown Law’s Corporate and Financial Law Organization (CFLO). She was also a Business Law Scholar, graduating with a Certificate of Achievement from the program. Katie served as a Staff Editor for the Georgetown Law Modern and Critical Race Perspectives Journal throughout her time in law school.
During her time at the university of Alabama, Katie double-majored in Accounting and Management, with a specialization in Entrepreneurship. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Alabama Culverhouse College of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce & Business Administration. She was a member of the Business Honors Program, serving on its executive board during her fourth year. Katie was also a graduate of the University Honors Program, and graduated with Honors distinction.
