Samiha Sumar is an associate in Goodwin’s Private Investment Funds practice, based in the firm’s London office. Samiha’s practice primarily focuses on the establishment of private funds (including equity and credit funds) as well as advising investors on their fund investments (including investments in infrastructure and real estate funds). Her experience also includes advising on incentive schemes and structuring co-investments.
Recent experience includes advising a sovereign wealth fund client on a fund of one structure as well as several fund investments (in particular in long term infrastructure projects) as well as advising a leading mid-market European client on its fourth credit fund.
Prior to joining Goodwin Procter LLP, Samiha was an associate in the private funds team at Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP.
