Anindya Roy is an associate in Goodwin’s Private Investment Funds practice, based in the firm’s London office.
Anindya advises on fund formation, fund restructuring, structuring investment management platforms and carried interest arrangements, with a particular focus on infrastructure, venture, real estate and private equity asset classes (sponsors include Capital Dynamics, Willis Towers Watson, Impax, Glennmont, Bregal Investments). Anindya has experience representing general partners in investor negotiations involving DFIs such as IFC, EIF, CDC (now BII), ADIA, SwedFund, Proparco, Belgian Investment Company for Developing Countries (BIO), SDG Frontier Fund, as well as institutional investors such as CDPQ, Ivanhoe Cambridge, AvH, TIAA, NTMA-ISIF, Korys and the King Baudouin Foundation.
He also has experience advising investors on their fund investments (Willis Towers Watson, LGT, Patria (formerly Abrdn), Mubadala), co-investments and incentivization schemes.
Anindya has also acted for clients on secondary transactions who are seeking liquidity solutions for their portfolios.

- A leading London-based PE firm in relation to its fund targeting investments in financial services companies in growth markets of Sub-Saharan Africa and Southeast Asia*
- A leading Indian PE firm on the set up of its debt fund investing primarily in the distressed space*
- A leading Indian PE firm in its platform deal involving negotiations with the Canadian DFI*
- A leading Indian family office in setting up one of India’s first fund-of-funds*
- Advising an international development consulting firm with structuring advice and documentation involving setting up of a 'social impact bond', one of the first of its kind in the Indian market*
- Advising a prestigious cricket club based out of London in relation to advice on marketing and then subsequent sale of debentures to Indian residents*
