Carolyn Rosenthal, who joined Goodwin in 1998, is the Director of Pro Bono. In this role, she works with the Pro Bono Committee to facilitate pro bono requests, networks with legal services programs to identify pro bono opportunities, publicizes cases and trainings, and shares information about the firm's pro bono activities both within the firm and outside. Ms. Rosenthal joined Goodwin as the Staffing Manager of the Corporate Department, then transitioned to the Pro Bono Manager position in 1999 and is now serving as the Pro Bono Director. Previously she served as the Executive Director of the Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts of Massachusetts, the Interim Director of the Lawyers Clearinghouse and was in private practice. She is a member of the Association of Pro Bono Counsel, and she also currently serves on the Boston Bar Foundation Grantee Selection Committee. Ms. Rosenthal is a graduate of Northwestern University and Boston University School of Law, where she received the “Boston University School of Law Pro Bono Alumni Award.”
