Aaron Prince

Aaron Prince is an associate in the firm’s Business Law department and a member of its Private Equity and Technology groups. Prior to rejoining Goodwin in 2023, Aaron spent three years as general counsel of a venture-backed media company. Aaron’s practice focuses on private equity M&A transactions, growth equity and venture capital investments, and advising founders and executive teams of emerging companies.

Aaron advises private equity, growth equity and venture capital investors, as well as emerging companies, on mergers and acquisitions, financings, and other corporate matters. During his time as general counsel of an emerging media company and a member of its executive management team, he regularly handled a wide variety of corporate and commercial matters, including financings, acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic partnerships, IP transactions, corporate governance, trademark and copyright disputes, and regulatory and employment matters.

Prior to initially joining Goodwin in 2019, Aaron was an associate in the New York office of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP. Prior to rejoining Goodwin in 2023, Aaron served as general counsel of Wave Sports + Entertainment, a venture-backed sports media company based in Santa Monica.
