Matthew Pelnar is an associate in Goodwin’s Technology Group. Matt specializes in the representation of founders, emerging growth companies and venture capital firms. Matt’s work with companies spans the entire corporate lifecycle and includes pre-incorporation planning, general corporate representation and counseling, venture capital financings, employment matters, equity matters, public offerings, and mergers and acquisitions. Matt also represents venture capital funds and strategic investors in transactions from seed through growth stage financings. Matt has particular experience with companies in the defense, space and aerospace sectors.
Professional Experience
Prior to joining Goodwin in 2022, Matt was an associate in the San Francisco office of Crowell & Moring LLP and an early employee and attorney at the legal tech start-up Atrium LLP. Prior to attending law school, Matt was an officer in the United States Marine Corps.
