Alastair Papworth is an associate in the firm’s Complex Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Employment practices.

Alastair is a practical, business-minded attorney who guides clients in a broad range of employment matters, including compliance with laws affecting the workplace, agreements with employees and executives, and workplace issues such as employee discipline and termination. Alastair also provides strategic counseling to his clients on employment matters arising in complex transactions, and has extensive experience in advising private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in a wide variety of complex transactions, such as mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and equity investments, as well as in assisting clients with general corporate governance and other day-to-day corporate matters.

• Pathology Watch in its acquisition by Sonic Healthcare
• Thoma Bravo in its acquisition of NextGen Healthcare for $1.8 billion
• York Capital Management in its strategic growth investment in Comprehensive Rehab Consultants
• Unanet and JMI Equity on Unanet’s new round of strategic financing from Onex Corporation
• Great Hill Partners in its acquisition of a controlling equity stake in Clearwave Parent, Inc. at an enterprise value of $300 million
