Marissa Menakaya is an associate in the Firm’s Business Law department. She joined Goodwin in 2022.
Experience
Marissa was a summer associate at Goodwin in 2021. During law school, Marissa was a summer associate at Reed Smith and an intern at the Victim Rights Law Center. Prior to law school Marissa conducted residential real estate closings and refinancings as a notary public in New Hampshire.
During law school, Marissa served as a student advocate in the Foster Education Project and a student attorney in the New Business Community Law Clinic at Berkeley Law. She was also Chair of the For People of Color Admissions Conference, Community Success Chair of the Law Students of African Descent, and a Fellow for the Academic Skills Program.
