Christopher James McKenna

Christopher McKenna is a science advisor and registered patent agent at Goodwin, specializing in patent prosecution and strategic patent portfolio development. He focuses on drafting and prosecuting patent applications as well as strategically developing valuable client portfolios. Christopher’s practice is focused specifically in the areas of electrical and computer engineering, machine learning, blockchain, and medical devices.

Prior to joining Goodwin, Christopher was a Patent Agent at a boutique IP firm, where he focused on patent prosecution and patent portfolio management for startup companies as well as larger publicly traded entities. Christopher is a registered patent agent with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), and his practice is limited to matters and proceedings before the USPTO.

Christopher is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
