Dr. Kim is an associate in the firm’s Business Law department and a member of its Intellectual Property group. She leverages her training in synthetic organic chemistry to assist clients with prior art research, patent preparation, patent prosecution, and freedom to operate analyses. Dr. Kim joined Goodwin in 2022 as a science law clerk.

Prior to joining Goodwin, Dr. Kim worked as a Technology Specialist at a boutique patent law firm in Boston. She conducted her doctoral research at Boston University, where she investigated routes toward the total synthesis of tetrahydroxanthone natural products.
