Thomas Honken

Thomas Honken is an associate in the firm’s Business Law department and a member of its Private Equity practice. He joined Goodwin in 2022. Thomas’s practice specializes in advising private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in a wide variety of transactions, including leveraged buyouts, mergers, acquisitions, growth equity investments and other corporate matters. He has experience representing corporate strategic and private equity clients in private mergers, acquisitions and dispositions and the ongoing representation and sale of portfolio companies.

Thomas advises investors and companies in a wide variety of industries, including healthcare, consumer, business services, and advanced industrial manufacturing verticals.

Prior to joining Goodwin Thomas was a litigation finance intern at Therium Capital Management where he analyzed international and domestic litigation for capital investment.

Additionally, Thomas had previously interned at the Ohio Innocence Project.
