Marius Garnatz

Marius is an associate in the firm’s Private Equity group in the Debt Finance practice.

Marius focuses his practice on leveraged acquisition finance and corporate finance. He represents banks, debt funds, financial sponsors and corporate borrowers on different types of financings.

Prior to joining Goodwin in 2022, Marius was an associate at Shearman & Sterling LLP.

Marius is fluent in German and English.

• Advised Equistone Partners Europe in connection with the sale of its majority stake in Amadys to Netceed
• Advised FLEX Capital on the financing of the acquisition of a majority stake in Omikron Systemhaus GmbH & Co. KG
• Advised Capital Four AIFM A/S on the extension of credit facilities to Carton Group GmbH in connection with the refinancing of existing debt and the financing of the acquisition of Europoligrafico
• Advised EMZ Partners on the financing for the acquisition of a majority stake in imes-icore Holding GmbH
• Advised the lenders on the financing of the add-on acquisition of FLEXX Fitness GmbH by BestFit Group, a portfolio company of NORD Holding
• Advised EVEX Group, a portfolio company of FLEX Capital, on the financing of its acquisition of OPTIX Group Limited and Euronet Software AG and the refinancing of its existing financial indebtedness
• Advised EOS Partners GmbH portfolio company, accompio GmbH, on the financing of the acquisition of 100% of the shares of be-solutions GmbH
• Advised German Equity Partners V, a fund managed by ECM Equity Capital Management GmbH, on entering into a partnership investment with ONE HIRING Group
• Advised Equistone portfolio company Sihl Group and its subsidiary Perigon GmbH on the financing of the acquisition of Trichord Ltd.
• Advised Nalka on the financing of the acquisition of the Norres Baggerman Group from Triton Partners
• Advised PINOVA Capital GmbH on the financing of its investment in RIEPE GmbH & Co. KG
• Advised Gimv on the financing of its investment in Rohrleitungsbau Münster GmbH & Co. KG
