Julia Dempewolf is a counsel in Goodwin’s Financial Services, Consumer Financial Services and Fintech practices. She advises financial institutions and Fintech clients regarding compliance with federal and state laws concerning, among other things, money services businesses, electronic fund transfers, interchange restrictions, banking, and consumer lending. Julia's unique expertise in federal and state money services business laws and private payment network rules enables her to counsel clients throughout the entire product life cycle. She has advised some of the country’s largest financial institutions and technology companies as well as startups on both regulatory compliance and transactional matters.
