Brittany Cohen is an associate in Goodwin’s Business Law department and a member of its Private Equity group. She joined Goodwin in 2019.
Ms. Cohen focuses her practice on the structuring, formation and ongoing management of private investment vehicles, including private equity funds, venture capital funds, and hedge funds.
Ms. Cohen’s experience in the private investment funds space includes establishing private funds through domestic and international securities offerings, representing sponsor entities in the preparation and negotiation of fund formation and investment documents, and counseling fund sponsors with respect to a variety of ongoing matters.

Prior to joining Goodwin, Ms. Cohen counseled registered funds and their boards of directors/trustees at Ropes & Gray LLP.
While attending law school, Ms. Cohen was the Executive Editor for Notes & Comments of the Review of Banking & Financial Law.
