Michael Casaburi is a senior attorney in Goodwin’s Antitrust and Competition practice specializing in advising clients on antitrust issues related to mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other collaborations. He has advised clients on all aspects of antitrust issues related to mergers and acquisitions including antitrust filing assessments, antitrust risk assessments, risk-shifting negotiations and agreements, and FTC and DOJ investigations. Michael has advocated on behalf of clients across a broad range of industry sectors before the FTC and DOJ during diverse aspects of merger investigations, developed antitrust compliance programs, and advised on antitrust issues related to competitor collaborations.

Professional Experience
Before joining Goodwin, Michael practiced antitrust law as an associate in the Antitrust and Intellectual Property Litigation practice at Sidley Austin and was a business strategy consultant at Bain & Company.
While at Boston College Law School, Michael served as Articles Editor for the International and Comparative Law Review. While at New York University School of Law, he worked as an intern at the Federal Trade Commission.
