Kelly Carson is an associate in Goodwin’s Technology group, specializing in emerging companies and venture capital. She advises technology companies at all stages of the corporate life cycle, including corporate formation, governance, venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, and securities law matters. She also represents various venture funds in financing transactions from seed to growth stage, including secondary transactions, follow-on investments and exit opportunities. Kelly is a member of Goodwin’s Climate Technologies practice and represents clients operating in the climate technology and sustainability innovation spaces.

Professional Experience

Prior to joining Goodwin in 2021, Kelly worked at Goodwin as a summer associate in 2020. While in law school, she advised nonprofit and for profit businesses on a variety of corporate governance and operational matters as a member of the Social Enterprise and Economic Empowerment Clinic at the University of California Hastings College of the Law.
