Timothy Beavers is an associate in Goodwin’s Intellectual Property Litigation practice. He focuses his practice on representing clients in complex intellectual property litigation across a variety of industries, including life sciences, technology, and consumer products.
Experience
Timothy’s representative experience includes:
- After a six-week trial following years of litigation, successfully defended Teva Pharmaceuticals and co-defendant Gilead Sciences in a federal jury verdict in San Francisco regarding antitrust litigation concerning the sale of generic versions of HIV treatments Truvada and Atripla.
Professional Experience
Timothy’s experience includes pre-suit investigations, discovery, motion practice, motions for preliminary injunction, claim construction, pre- and post-trial proceedings, and trial. Prior to joining Goodwin, he practiced patent litigation at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP and Groombridge, Wu, Baughman & Stone LLP.
