Experience
Wrenne focuses her practice on white collar criminal defense, government and internal investigations, and complex commercial litigation. She has worked with clients including public and private companies, real estate investment trusts, boards of directors, committees, and individuals. This work includes responding to investigations by federal and state prosecutors, SEC, CFPB, and FDA. Wrenne has an active pro bono practice, including representing a plaintiff in a civil matter and representing indigent criminal defendants in federal matters.
Previously, Wrenne gained significant courtroom experience during a six-month rotation with the Kings County (Brooklyn) District Attorney’s Office as a special Assistant District Attorney. In that role, she prosecuted numerous felony and misdemeanor cases, which included presentations before the Grand Jury, conducting hearings, investigating cases, negotiating pleas, and preparing trials.
During law school, Wrenne served as a judicial intern for the Hon. Robin Meriweather at the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia as well as an intern at the Securities and Exchange Commission, Office of International Affairs. She also served as a research assistant for Dean Emily Hammond and Jeffrey Gutman. Wrenne participated in the Prisoner & Reentry Clinic and was a member of the Moot Court Board.
