Andre Amorim is an associate in the firm’s ERISA & Executive Compensation practice and assists with a wide range of compensation and benefits matters. Mr. Amorim advises both public and private companies on tax and securities law issues in connection with mergers and acquisitions, financings, initial public offerings and other corporate transactions. In addition, he regularly advises employers and executives in the negotiation, design and implementation of employment, severance, change in control, deferred compensation, equity and other incentive compensation plans and arrangements.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Amorim worked in Ernst & Young’s People Advisory Services department where he focused on various executive compensation and employee benefits issues with respect to foreign and domestic equity-based incentive plans, long-term incentive plans, ERISA and Affordable Care Act compliance, and qualified retirement benefit plan matters.
