Sweden-based legal generative artificial intelligence platform Legora is making waves in the U.S., opening an office in New York City, while striking a partnership with American international law firm Goodwin, the company announced Monday. As part of the partnership, Legora has been working closely with Goodwin to find the best use cases of its platform for the firm's attorneys, Max Junestrand, CEO and co-founder of Legora, and Mary O'Carroll, chief operating officer at Goodwin, recently told Law360 Pulse. O'Carroll said that AI is a "powerful" tool with "unlimited" use cases, which can be "overwhelming" for attorneys, so they have designed use cases to help attorneys get started using Legora's platform. "We feel that they truly understand the work and the use cases that we're trying to accomplish, and they've been great partners in working with us to develop them and refine them," she said.
