German weekly business magazine WirtschaftsWoche honored Munich partner Winfried Carli with this year's Legal All Stars award in the banking and finance category.
WirtschaftsWoche has been honouring the three most successful professionals from 31 different areas of law with the Legal All Stars since 2020. The Handelsblatt Research Institute sent out almost 26,000 surveys to business lawyers for WirtschaftsWoche. First, the lawyers were asked about the most renowned competitors in their field and then a jury of corporate lawyers, professors, litigation funders and consultants voted on the list.
Winfried Carli advises national and international private equity firms, financial institutions, credit funds and corporates on national and cross-border financings and restructurings with a special focus on leveraged finance.
At the beginning of March, WirtschaftsWoche once again recognised Goodwin as a "top law firm" and Winfried Carli as a "highly recommended lawyer" for banking and finance law.
Legal directories also listed him at the top of their rankings: For JUVE, Winfried Carli is one of the "leading names in loans and acquisition finance"; Chambers has listed him in the Global Guide Banking & Finance category since 2011 and Legal 500 has included him in its Banking and Finance Law “Hall of Fame”.
