Office co-managing partner Barbara Shander said the firm will have an eventful 2024 in the city, headlined by its planned move to Schuylkill Yards in University City this fall that will allow Goodwin the capacity to more than double its current headcount. In January and February of last year, Goodwin added 12 Troutman Pepper partners and two former Morgan Lewis & Bockius partners in Philadelphia. The lawyers have a focus on life sciences and health care transactions, private equity and white collar criminal defense litigation. “The diversity of our practice is a differentiator,” Shander said. Goodwin does not have a geographic growth strategy, but rather one focused on representing six industry verticals: private equity, real estate, technology, health care, life sciences and financial services. “We are looking to expand in areas where we already have depth. And we are looking for opportunities to grow the office and continue to integrate more into the city." More in The Business Journals.
