Goodwin has hired credit fund expert John Anderson as a partner, joining the firm’s Private Investment Funds practice, Alternative Credit Investor reports. Anderson will be based in the London office, advising clients with regulatory, tax, financing and other structuring issues in all aspects of fund formation, for senior and subordinated debt, venture debt and other credit fund strategies. He has experience working across a broad range of alternative assets structures and jurisdictions. “John has significant expertise in credit fund strategies, where we expect to see sustained high activity levels given the current high interest rate environment, as well as other private fund strategies,” said Michael Halford, co-chair of Goodwin’s Private Investment Funds practice. “We are delighted that he will be joining the firm.”
