Partner Gabrielle Gould have been named 2023 Notable Women in Law by Crain’s New York Business. This annual award recognizes outstanding women lawyers in New York for their skills and accomplishments, community leadership, and ability to help clients thrive in the face of adversity.
Gould is a partner in Goodwin’s Complex Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Financial Industry Litigation practices. For more than 20 years, she has represented financial institutions, major corporations, and individuals in a wide variety of securities and complex commercial matters in federal and state courts, as well as in arbitrations, regulatory inquiries, and internal investigations. Crain’s highlighted Gould’s commitment to creating diverse teams and mentoring ascending female lawyers to ensure they have the resources, opportunities, and support needed to be successful. Crain’s also highlighted Gould’s dedication to pro bono work, including her representation of clients in citizenship and asylum applications with Legal Services NYC.
Another partner in Goodwin’s Technology and Life Sciences groups, with extensive experience representing pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and other life sciences companies in a wide range of complex commercial, corporate, and licensing transactions. She worked on some of the most complex life sciences collaborations in the industry, representing early stage to big pharma companies at each stage of the life sciences product lifecycle. Crain’s highlighted another partner's work on the Board of Directors of Asian Women for Health, a community-based network dedicated to advancing Asian women’s health, and on the Board of Managers of Life Science Cares NYC, a non-profit organization focusing on the collective effort of life science companies to eliminate the impacts of poverty.
