Global law firm Goodwin today announced that Eunice Choi joined the firm’s Private Investment Funds practice as a partner, resident in the firm’s San Francisco office.
“Eunice’s experience is a perfect match for our clients’ needs,” said Mandee Gruen, co-chair of Goodwin’s Private Investment Funds practice. “We are excited to welcome Eunice to our team as we continue to build on the strength of our full-service offering for venture capital clients on the West Coast and globally.”
Choi represents sponsors in the formation of private investment funds in a variety of sectors and asset classes — primarily venture capital funds — and in associated operational and regulatory activities. She counsels clients on funds ranging in size from multibillion dollar partnerships to small early-stage venture funds.
Goodwin’s 180+ lawyer Private Investment Funds practice supports over 500 investment managers raising capital to invest in the private equity, real estate, technology, and life sciences sectors. In the past 18 months, the practice closed more than 60 funds totaling over $200 billion in raised capital. The firm was recently named the top law firm for fund formation by Law360, the Legal 500 UK Awards, IJ Global, and SuperReturn Awards.
