The Life Sciences and Technology team in Boston and Cambridge advised REMUS on its co-lead investment into Spotta Limited as part of a US$1.18 million seed funding round.
Spotta, based in Cambridge, UK, is a company using smart IoT devices, AI and chemistry to develop ultra-low-power insect monitoring sensors designed to detect various pests (including bed bug infestations and pest control).
REMUS is a US-based venture capital firm with offices in Boston, San Francisco and London focusing on investing into B2B companies tackling and transforming large traditional industries.
The Goodwin deal team was led by Bill Schnoor and Adam Thatcher.
