Goodwin Private Equity Partner, Stephen Lee, Named President of the Association for Corporate Growth’s L.A. Chapter

Global law firm Goodwin today announced that Stephen Lee, a partner in the firm’s Private Equity and Technology groups, was elected as President of the Los Angeles chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG LA).

ACG’s worldwide network comprises 90,000 professionals within the middle market, including 14,500 members who serve as the investors, lenders, owners, executives and advisers to growing middle-market companies. ACG’s mission is to drive middle-market growth. ACG LA has more than 600 members who include middle market corporate executives, commercial and investment bankers, private equity investors, and legal, accounting and finance professionals. It hosts more than 40 annual events, including its ACG LA Business Conference every September.

At Goodwin, Lee advises private equity funds, entrepreneurs and corporate clients regarding mergers and acquisitions, as well as early stage companies regarding capital raising and general corporate matters. He also regularly represents buyers and sellers in cross-border transactions and has particular expertise in the aerospace, software, technology and medical device industries. Lee was previously the secretary and a board member of ACG LA, the chair of its Programs Committee, a member of its Private Equity Committee, and the former chair of its Annual Awards Committee.
