Led by the Frankfurt Private Equity team, Goodwin advised Onapsis Inc. on its acquisition of the Virtual Forge Group. Onapsis and the founders of Virtual Forge have entered into a definite agreement to acquire privately-held Virtual Forge, headquartered in Heidelberg, Germany. With the acquisition of Virtual Forge, Onapsis will become the largest independent provider of ERP security and compliance solutions.

Headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, Onapsis provides solutions for securing business-critical SAP and Oracle applications. The Onapsis platform is the most widely used cybersecurity solution for the protection of ERP systems and the company’s customers include many of the Global 2000 companies.
