BOSTON, October 12, 2004 — Goodwin Procter LLP today announced the addition of Edward A. Reilly, Jr. to the firm’s Private Equity Practice. He joins the firm as partner in its New York office.
Reilly’s practice focuses on the representation of private equity funds, including funds engaged in leveraged buyouts and venture capital investments as well as emerging companies in all aspects of legal planning related to financing, partnering and growth strategies.
In addition, he has specific expertise in representing companies and investors who are active in adopting innovative strategies in the financial services, energy and other regulated industries. Representative clients include Canaan Partners, Conning Capital Partners, Flagship Partners, Shawmut Capital, Saugatuck Capital, RFE Investment Partners and Dominion Ventures.
Reilly is a valuable addition to Goodwin Procter’s Business Law Department as the firm continues to grow its New York office and expand its corporate and transactional capabilities.
Reilly joins Goodwin Procter from Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP. He received his B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and his J.D. from Columbia University School of Law.
